    How It Works

    1

    Register

Reserve your organization's spot. Full payment collected at registration. Cancellation policy applies from the time pre-work is sent.

    2

    Complete Pre-Work

Two weeks before the session, each attendee completes three pre-work assignments (~90 min total). The facilitator reviews all responses before the session begins.

    3

    Session Day

Five hours of structured working time. A facilitator guides production — this is not a lecture. All eight documents delivered to your team within 24 hours.

    Pre-Work

Sent two weeks before the session. Each attendee completes these independently so the facilitator can identify gaps and disagreements before the day begins.

    Part 1 · ~30 min

SUD & Behavioral Health AI Regulatory Primer

A pre-read covering the regulatory and compliance landscape for substance use disorder and behavioral health providers, including 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements, mental health parity law, and SAMHSA guidance on AI use in treatment settings, so facilitated time is not spent on background.

    Part 2 · ~45 min

    AI Inventory Worksheet

A structured walkthrough of your technology stack. Identify every tool with an AI component, what it does, and what decisions it influences.

    Part 3 · ~15 min

    Current-State Self-Assessment

A brief scorecard that establishes your governance starting point. Each attendee completes this independently so the facilitator can map gaps before the session begins.

    Who Should Attend

Up to three people per organization. Bring the right roles — the session produces decisions that require ownership to survive past day one.

    Executive Director or CEO

Owns governance commitments and signs off on the 90-day roadmap.

    Clinical Director

Clinical accountability for care-facing AI tools and primary point of accountability for 42 CFR Part 2 compliance considerations.

    Compliance or Privacy Officer

Required given 42 CFR Part 2 restrictions on AI tools that touch substance use records. Non-optional.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund if you cancel before pre-work materials are sent (two weeks before the session). If pre-work has been delivered, cancellations receive a credit toward a future session. No cash refunds after pre-work delivery.

Do we need to attend the webinar first?

No. The pre-work primer covers the regulatory context. Attending the webinar first is helpful but not required.

What does 'up to 3 attendees per organization' mean?

Each organization registers one spot. Up to three people from your organization may attend the session. The session is capped at seven organizations, which means a maximum of 21 participants total.

    What format is the session?

Virtual. The full day runs approximately five hours live with structured breaks. This is a working session, not a lecture — every block ends with a real artifact your team owns.

Does the session cover 42 CFR Part 2 specifically?

Yes. The pre-work regulatory primer covers 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements as they apply to AI tools that access or process substance use records. The session governance artifacts — including the Acceptable Use Policy and Vendor Review Process — are built with these constraints in mind.

Our organization receives RHT funding. Are we eligible for reduced pricing?

Yes. Organizations receiving Rural Health Transformation Program funding are eligible for reduced pricing at $3,500 per organization. Contact us to confirm eligibility before registering.

When do we receive our artifacts?

All eight governance documents are delivered to your team within 24 hours of the session close.
